Welcome to the Real World, Kid.

My name is Kelsey.  I am on my great adventure.

I'm engaged to Tommy, and we're in love.  (That makes everything better, right?)

I dropped everything I had (which, admittedly, was not much) and moved to a mid-sized town in northern California, north of San Francisco, because Tommy proposed.  It was magic.  We live in a tiny house (but very nice) in the middle of the wilderness.

It's not the middle of nowhere, it's only 25 minutes from town, but it is the wilderness.

We are two birds in the wilderness.

I left a decent job in marketing for a company south of the bay area, which is something I thought I would never do.  But I did.  It took me 8 months of thinking, but my dad told me "There are those who are afraid, and those who have faith."  I chose to have faith, because I love Tommy.

We are getting married in September.  That is so much responsibility, but that is something to discuss another day, or more like dayssssss.

I have been looking for a job up here for the last 5 months (prior to moving) with no luck.  So I moved and hope that taking such drastic action would show that great and powerful universe that I have faith and to please send me a sign that I did the right thing.

I'm looking for my sign, but it will come.

In the meantime, I'm off to send out eight more resumes and cover letters.

Please wish  me luck, and please send a thought out for me to the universe.

Thanks,

Kelsey
